Benjamin McKenzie Schenkkan Grew up in Austin, Texas and was born in 1979. He is the nephew of Pulitzer
Prize- winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, who co-authored the screenplay for "The Quiet American".
This is one of
Benjamin's very first professional acting roles but he has had numerous roles in plays during his school years including the
role of "Teddy" in 'Homecoming', "Bennie" in 'Getting Out' and also a part in 'Life is a Dream'
On the Oc Benjamin plays the 'bad boy' from Chino, (the wrong side of town) he finds his way into the Oc
when Seths dad gets him out of jail. Then Seths dad brought him back to his house and is now living there. In the frist few
days of living in the OC he finds himself in MANY fights (mainly from Luke) all over Marisa (Luke was going out with Marisa
at that time) and Ryan had his eye on her! Eventually they realise that the love was too strong to be kept apart and they
are soon together..............but for how long??!!!
